《壁花男孩》（英文：The Perks of Being a Wallflower）是一齣改編自史蒂芬·切波斯基（Stephen Chbosky）書信體同名小說的電影。電影由原著小說作者執導。2011年5月9日至6月29日在賓夕法尼亞州的匹茲堡拍攝^[1][2]。於2012年9月8日在加拿大多倫多國際電影節首映。

Stephen Chbosky (/ʃ ə ˈ b ɒ s k i /;^[1] born January 25, 1970) is an American novelist, screenwriter, and film director best known for writing the New York Times bestselling coming-of-age novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower (1999), as well as for screenwriting and directing the film version of the same book, starring Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, and Ezra Miller. He also wrote the screenplay for the 2005 film Rent, and was co-creator, executive producer, and writer of the CBS television series Jericho, which began airing in 2006.

史蒂芬．切波斯基 (Stephen Chbosky)
　　成長於賓州匹茲堡，南加大畢業，專攻劇本寫作。他執導的電影處女作《The Four Corners of Nowhere》於1995年日舞影展（Sundance Film Festival）首映，之後贏得芝加哥地下電影節（Chicago Underground Film Festival）「最佳劇情長片」殊榮。切波斯基亦曾以《Everything Divided》獲頒亞伯拉罕．波隆斯基劇作獎（Abraham Polonsky Screenwriting Award）。近期則為了作品《Fingernails and Smooth Skin》加入「日舞協會電影工作者實驗室」（Sundance Institute's Filmmakers' Lab）。切波斯基目前定居紐約市，
